Michele Ackerman’s studio is located in the Midwest, in central Ohio. Having grown up on a Holstein dairy farm, she was very influenced by animals and nature, and her work reflects her fondness for these subjects. Michele creates original illustrations in watercolor and gouache, then enhances them in photoshop. When she isn’t painting and creating new art, Michele can be found tending a small garden of hostas, impatiens, ferns, lavender and geraniums.
